Late in my childhood, living with my grandparents
in the countryside of Ceará, I led a rural life which touched me
deeply and influenced me for the rest of my life.
This originated yet another dialectic, between the urban and the rural
which, since then, has always accompanied me.
To me, having moved to Barra Alegre was an existential fulfillment: I
had found my place. Faraway, and yet so close, immersed in contemporary
times, yet interspersed by the ever-sopresent past. A profound love for
this natural environment grew in my heart: Pedra Aguda, the Macabu Mountain
Range, the waters, the forests and the living creatures which inhabit
them. In my daily life, I fraternize with my neighbors and, together,
we strive to build a sustainable life in Barra Alegre.
Being an active member of both The Barra Alegre Association of Residents
and Farmers and the Town Council allows me the opportunity to share my
expertise and experiences and to fight for the sustainable development
of our community.
Life, Health, Happiness, Open Paths.
